“El futuro es hoy” immerses us in the depths of 21st century Cuban reality. This is the great achievement of the poetic and honest vision of its author, Sandra Gómez.
With the greatest possible objectivity and with the aid of a variety of perspectives, this film deals with the misfortune of many of its protagonists in their inability to determine their own future. Hence the provocative title “The Future is Now”.
